In SoftEther VPN Client Manager, when adding a new VPN Adapter on Windows 8 I am only allow to set the name to VPNX where X is a number from 1 to 10.
I am trying to create VPN to HP Demo portal and the adapter name must be called - DEMONET.
HP wrote in their instructions:
If necessary modify the saved VPN file in a text editor.
The fields that you might need to modify are:
• string DeviceName DEMONET (This is necessary when the Operating System is Windows 2012, 8, 10)
• string AccountName ABCDCLSKJFLOJSIUR15355 (This is the name the connection will show up in your SoftEther Client, at times it is helpful to rename this to help identify which subscription it connects to, especially if you have multiple connections.)

But I did not find the text file where I can change the VPN Adapter name.

Can someone explain me where is this file?

Thanks

Did HP require to change Virtual NIC name??
Could you show the document?
If you want change network connection name (not adapter name), you can change it in control panel.

Read the document once more carefully.

This document say that.
