Hi...
I'm a new user of SoftEther and I'm with some troubles.
I need to use a VPN connection between a Windows 7 PC and an Android Tablet to estabilish a secure network.
I used those tutorials to help me:
http://www.softether.org/4-docs/1-manua ... igurations
http://www.softether.org/4-docs/2-howto ... nd_Android
http://www.softether.org/4-docs/2-howto ... ient_Setup
But it doesn't work. Can you please help me?
I don't know certainly my "Username" and "Password" but i found it:
byte EncryptedPassword 3Dm9mhku
string HubName DEFAULT
string UserName Nilo
Is it correctly? What is wrong?
Thank you for attention.

The password in configuration file isn't password which you use for android settings.
If you forgot the password, re configure password on server manager.

I'm with those problems and I can't solve it.
Do you have an e-mail to better conversation?
Thank you.

Nilo. If those are the steps you followed you were moving in the right direction. You just missed some steps. Once you install the VPN Server though you need to setup the Server, the hub, your users and passwords, decide on Openvpn or L2TP and if L2TP setup the preshared key etc. Once that is done then you can move on to input that information (username, password, preshared key) into the clients that it seems you have already studied. This could help with setting up the server.

However it would be best if you just put aside the vpn for a day and read the manual first. Then after you are done reading all the sections from front to back go and try it out. It will all make more sense then. The links to everything you need are in the top left corner of the home pages. Here is where you should start reading: http://www.softether.org/4-docs/1-manual . I did it and took me about a day to read and get things going. Plus a few more days of testing to get comfortable with things.
Best wishes for a successful setup.
