I am using the latest Softether VPN Client software installed on Windows 10 laptop. I configured the software and created the VPN client adapter as per the manual. I am unable to get connection within Windows 10 on the laptop. When I look at device status on the laptop it shows VPN client with the message "network cable not plugged in " The cable is plugged in and functioning with my NIC on the laptop.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Bob

You are correct. I did not realize that the "Network cable unplugged" message does not go away until I connect to my host pc.
Thanks so much for your comments.
