SoftEther VPN User Forum

Before I ask my question I want to thank the SoftEther VPN developers for creating such a useful VPN program.

Can anybody direct me to the instructions for updating SoftEther VPN. I assume one downloads the binaries but how is a manual update performed?

on windows - just run the installer and install in the same directory
on linux - stop vpnserver daemon, compile the new version and replace old version files ..and start the daemon
