I am trying to setup SoftEther VPN and am rather short on knowledge.
On the New VPN Connection Setting Properties I have tried using my IP Address with my Port Number of 80 (or 443), but I don't know my Hub Name. I used "RADIUS........." for Auth Type and entered a username and password and tried to connect, but an error gets displayed "error 1" when I try to connect.
How seriously am I wrong?

Re: Another newbie with Setup Queries
Hi there, why you went too far with authentication methods, such as RADIUS servers, try first with standard authentication, it's as simple as entering username and password. Also, it's a good idea to provide us more details about your setup of SE server.
Good luck (:

Re: Another newbie with Setup Queries
Hi Guys
I haven't finished setting up a VPN yet as I am taking a look at the feasibility of doing so. I have been reading that VPN over satellite internet can be a problem. I only have satellite internet and I am looking for an extra security level for my private connection.

If you install VPN server, you should know the virtual hub name.
