SoftEther VPN User Forum

I found a very good Japanese server on softether server list last month, and I kept a record of its ip and its port(which is 1204). I then set up the connection on Softether using the virtual hub VPNGATE, with TCP/IP connection, and username "vpn".

For that one week I was able to connect to that server every day I tried. Then one day I experienced "error code 1" when I tried to connect to that server, and since then it says "error code 1" whenever I tried to connect.

I really want to connect to that server again. Does anyone know the method to do that? Perhaps guessing another port or using other types of connections?

I tried searching it up but because my question is too basic and general, the search engine wouldn't allow me to search the key words I want...

Can you please tell me some of the key words of that post you saw so I can search it up?
