I am creating site-to-site VPN. Both side i am using Vmware workstation. Both side are windows 7.
Both side PCs as two NIC ports in each.

SiteA: Act as server.
NIC1 has set to static exterenal real ip. (Internet port)
NIC2 has set to nothing as it is LAN port connected to local switch. everything is unchecked in adapter properties.

Installed SoftEther server on this PC and have created Local Bridge.

SiteB: act as Bridge
NIC1 has set to static exterenal real ip. (Internet port)
NIC2 has set to nothing as it is LAN port connected to local switch. everything is unchecked in adapter properties.
Installed SoftEther as Bridge mode on this PC and have created Local Bridge.
As soon as i created local bridge on this siteB, all communication was stopped on NIC2 even on host OS.

Means, while Guest OS is running and if i enable Local Bridge on Local port in Guest, it stops everything on Host OS LAN port.
*** Host *** OS cannot ping anything to anything in network. As soon as remove Local bridge on LAN port in Guest OS, then Host OS will start ping to any device connected to Switch.

Why Guest OS bridging stop Host OS network?
pls help.

Can you please draw a diagram how you setup your server and which NIC on each site you put the local bridge? It would be helpful for us to help your issue.

Did you configure anything except localbridge?

for now, i had setup exclusive pc which had worked for me.
It was very urgent hence i had to assign separate pc at client side.

VMware workstation had issue, so i would still look for solution on this.

Same settings which i had on standalone PC (direct windows OS- no vmware), was tried in vmware but it did not work. it is only as local bridge.
