"Always-On-VPN" option for Android on VPNGate: How to do it?

Hi,
I would like to use the VPN in permanent to prevent the leak of my IP.
And so i want to have my internet not usable if i'm there is any trouble of connexion with the VPN, to be really sure and secure about that and not having any app which is connecting me with my real IP.
Great news: It seems that the option exists in Android in native and it's named "Always-On VPN".
So i follow the guide for Android (
http://www.vpngate.net/en/howto_l2tp.aspx#android ) with L2TP/IPSec PSK", but for the "Always-On VPN" option, Android ask you to give a DNS server adress.
And that's where i have a problem.
I don't know what to write AND where in the advanced options of the creation of the VPN. I'm not an expert.
Can someone could give me an example (with the real servers adress on the
http://www.vpngate.net/ home adress ) to help me to configure the VPN to be connected to it all the time?
Thank you! :)

Ok
Ok try the following:
- The external IP address of your server
- 192.168.30.1 or whatever the default network address of SoftEtherVPN
- In SoftEther itself in the virtual NAT options, you can specify the dns ips, try 8.8.8.8. or 8.8.4.4. Maybe then android will work

Hi,
Thanks for your answer, but i don't understand when you say "- In SoftEther itself in the virtual NAT options, you can specify the dns ips, try 8.8.8.8. or 8.8.4.4. Maybe then android will work", because there is not SoftEther on Android.
I use L2TP/IPSec PSK cause it's the only way (with OpenVPN) to access to VPNGate servers through Android.
And i don't use any NAT, i use Android and i'm going on internet with 3G and 4G, directly, without any PC, or any internet landline between my Android device and Internet.
So, it's not possible to use SoftEther inside Android, and i still need help to create an "Always-On-VPN" option with Android and VPNGate! :D

Hi
I didn't mean Virtual NAT/DNS options in Android but on the SoftEther Server itself.
You need to isolate the problem and ask the following questions:
1- Is the SoftEther Server working and reachable? Take a laptop and try to connect to your server to answer this question. Try openvpn and/or L2TP
2- Can I connect my Android to my SoftEther server
It makes no sense to try to solve problem #2 without answering problem #1
Cheers

Hi,
Oh ok, i understand now! :)
But i've already try for sure, if the servers were working on another platform than Android (I've tested on my Laptop) and the servers are working.
On Android, no, they do not work...
It says "Always-On-VPN requires an IP adress for both server and DNS".
It doesn't even try to connect! In only second it says this message to me when i try to activate the option "Always-On-VPN".
I tried on an other smartphone, another trademark, and it's the same trouble...
I tried on other servers of VPNGate, and it's the same trouble...
I don't really understand what's happening, i'm confused... :(
Hope it helps to identity the trouble...
Thanks for your answers and your help!
PS: Just to be sure, i prefer to ask: When you are talking about "SoftEther Server", you mean "VPN Gate servers" which are on the homepage vpngate.net right? Or are you talking about something else?

Ok. So I just tried the always on thing on android.
You need to edit the following fields in your vpn connection:
Server address: IP address (NOT URL)
advanced->DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
That's it. It worked just like that
I use my own server, not vpn gate, but it should basically be the same
Cheers
