LAN-to-LAN connection with an Android device

Hi,
I am currently using a LAN-to-LAN connection using a server and a raspberrry pi. I need the external server so my remote mobile devices can create a connection (L2TP) to my LAN-network at home without port-forwarding. The server uses a cascade connection to my raspberry pi (at home) so I can access my LAN with it.
However, now I have to exchange the raspberry for an Android-device and wanted to know if it is possible to use an Android device (Minix for example) as a relay just like I used the raspberry pi to access the LAN.
Does anyone have an idea if that is possible?
Best regards, Michael
