DHCP Issues With LAN-to-LAN VPN (L3 IP Routing)

Post by enigz » Wed Feb 19, 2020 9:19 am

Hi,

I've set up a L3 site to site VPN connection following the guide at https://www.softether.org/4-docs/1-manu ... P_Routing)

I have encountered an issue where some PCs located at Site B have been assigned IP address from Site A DHCP server, and some PCs located at Site A have been assigned IP address from Site B DHCP server.

As a result, PCs at Site B have been assigned IP addresses belonging to Site A IP Subnet and can no longer access local resources, and vice versa.

Site A is using IP subnet 192.168.0.x and Site B is using IP subnet 192.168.1.x
Site A gateway/DHCP server is 192.168.0.1 while Site B gateway/DHCP server is 192.168.1.254
The virtual switch interface address is set at 192.168.0.248 for Site A and 192.168.1.248 for Site B

Can someone advise on how do I solve this issue?

Thank you very much in advance!
