Problems with Client using WinXP

Unable to connect to the VPN Client service running on Local Computer. Make sure the VPN Client service has started
and is running normally.
The aforementioned is the error msg I get when trying to use your service.
Working with WinXP, Professional 2002, SP 3, 32-bit.
Please advise.
