How to upgrade to latest version on Windows Server 2012 R2

I am running SoftEther VPN Server on a Windows Server 2012 VM.
What is the best way/process for upgrading to the latest version of SoftEther?
If I run the EXE will it upgrade the existing version without losing any configurations?
