Simple Lan topology with packet loss

The topology is quite simple, I set up a VPN server on a ubuntu server, and patched the virtualhub to the linux bridge on the server node, and at the same time, added VM's interface to the linux bridge.

But, after I connected from remote node to the vpn server, ( VPN connection from OtherNode possess the IP 172.20.0.27)and try to ping from 172.20.0.27 to 172.20.0.45, there are nearly 80% packet loss, what's wrong? I think it should be pingable or not pingable, but can't figure out why there should be packet loss.

Both server and client are (Ver 4.34, Build 9745, rtm). I tried to disable UDP acceleration, tried different server version, no use.

Code: Select all

You can't ping from virtual hub to a bridged local NIC.

Sorry for ambiguous description, the green line means a VPN connection from the 'OtherNode', which possess the IP 172.20.0.27.
