Requesting an IP address to the DHCP server in VPN

Post by arno974 » Mon Aug 23, 2021 9:47 am

hi,
i have a problem since a little electrical shutdown.

when client connect, i got the message : "Requesting an IP address to the DHCP server in VPN".
and my client doesn't have the right IP according to the network VPN server.

everything work well before, and for several month.

i don't use SECURE NAT on the softether VPN server side.
the LAN card assign to the bridge have no change and is correctly connected to the LAN, in DHCP mode.. so the DHCP is functional.
i have restarted the server.
i have update the softEther VPN Server witch the lastest version.
i have shoot the bridge, and recreate it.
in the server log i see the Wan IP entering .. with my local client IP, the PC names...

Hello.

Check if your DHCP server still has IPs available to assign. Increase the range if necessary or delete old connections.
You can also restart the DHCP service.

That worked for me. Regards,
