Virtual DHCP not removed after uninstalling softether

Post by sahil_sih » Mon Sep 06, 2021 1:53 pm

I was trying to install SoftEther for my home PC. I followed for all steps to install the server, creating the VPN Hub, local bridges, virtual NAT and Virtual DHCP. For some reason I was not able to install it successfully and decided to not go ahead with it. So I uninstalled everything.

Now my PC is connected in my home LAN with subnet 192.168.1.0/24. The router is the DHCP server with IP 192.168.1.1 and assigns IP in the range of 192.168.1.0/24. As part of the installing process, maybe during the NAT configuration I had assigned the IP for the NAT and DHCP server in the subnet 192.168.50.0/24 (DHCP server was 192.168.50.1). But even after removing everything, I see that the IP of my PC is 192.168.50.12 and DHCP is 192.168.50.1. When I see the connected devices on my router, I see "securenat-xxxxxxx" where xx is the MAC address. I assume that means the SecureNat is still running and my PC is still behind NAT. How do I disable it? SoftEther is already uninstalled.

I also see that the all the local PCs in my network are getting IP addresses in the subnet 192.168.50.0/24, even though the router is configured to give IP addresses in other subnet. How do I remove the Virtual DHCP and securenat?
