Hello there.
I am behind router and a modem.
Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.12
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

I can ping the gateway - the router fine

Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=3ms TTL=64

Also I can ping the modem , whish is weird but I can although my ip is in a different range.

Pinging 192.168.0.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.0.1: bytes=32 time=3ms TTL=63

The upnpc -l shows:

Found valid IGD : http://192.168.1.1:59550/ctl/IPConn
Local LAN ip address : 192.168.1.12
Connection Type : IP_Routed
Status : Connected, uptime=1512716s, LastConnectionError : ERROR_NONE
ExternalIPAddress = 192.168.0.2
This is the address of the router which it gets from the modem.

So is there a way to reach somehow the modem with upnp and open there the ports so that the vpn server is reachable? I do not have admin access to the configuration of the modem.

If the server is behind this gateway, does not firewall but stil NAT, you still need forward the needed ports, ie 443 or 1194

Or does the server is outside and you are behind the NAT?
