client and server IP addresses same4 subnet

I am new to SoftEther, so please be kind.

I know that with a standard VPN you cannot have Client and Server on the same scope. Is this the same for SoftEther?

I would just like to connect up a network drive so I dont have to carry dsuplicate data and I am trying not to use RemotePC / RDP / VNC.

I have a server at home on a network 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254.I am trying to VPN from a remote client on a network I am on is 192.168.1.1 -192.168.1.254. The virtual hub has given me an IP of 169.254.178.5 / 255.255.0.0. So obviously I cannot connet to directories on my server.

It should be partially functional after removing the bridge and enabling SNAT+VDHCP+VNAT and manipulating static routes.
