Client Manager Not Refreshing Status

I am using Client Manager Ver 4.38, Build 9760 on Windows 10. Everything is working ok, but the connection Status field is not updated to reflect that a connection has been connected or disconnected. I must click View-Refresh or press F5 for the Status field to update. This is a problem because extra steps are required, and also controlling the connection using the system tray icon does not work properly until the status is manually refreshed using the client manager. I have tried uninstalling and removing all files, and then reinstalling.
