Softether vpn won't work from day to night

After a windows update on this date (12-16/2022) softether won't even open anymore. Is simply shows me the message bellow and closes.
I tried everythin from reinstalling it, stopping the softether service, setting values in the registry, nothing works. Does any one have any ideas?
Message: "Unable to connect to the VPN Client service operating on local Computer. Make sure the VPN Client service has started and is running normally"
The message still appears, even though I have already reainstalled the software and made sure the service IS in fact, running.
