SSTP is User Name case sensitive

When I define a new user ABC but I have an existing user abc, I get a message that I have a duplicate userid. So Softether's user names are case sensitive.
But when I logon, it seems the user name IS case sensitive. abc will work. ABC does not. Am I seeing things? If true, shouldn't Softether either be case sensitive or not but not both?

Users are NOT case secretive
If you add "username" then you cannot add "USERNAME"
which means if your username is "username" you can login with "USERNAME" as well.

I see this which made me believe SoftEhter was NOT case sensitive. Why then if defined garry, when someone defines with MS builtin SSTP client with user Garry does it not work but user garry does?
As my question said, it seems when adding clients, SE is case sensitive but when SSTP clients log on, SE is case sensitive. Anyone else seen this?

You are talking about client implementation details which they could differ
As I tested with Open SSTP client android, it is not case secretive but Windows built-in could be. Not sure why it is.
But I agree with this inconsistency since the user name in a hub session all is written in UPPERCASE even if you had the username all in lowercase :|
