About the problem of "SoftEther VPN" causing the blue screen of Windows 11 system

After changing the CPU, power supply, system, and motherboard of my computer, the blue screen still appears. Finally, I analyzed the .dmp file with the help of Microsoft Community and found that it was caused by SoftEther VPN. How can I provide logs to help troubleshoot the issue? Or is the software no longer updated?
I only enabled Open VPN/MS-SSTP, Dynamic DNS and local bridging to the VPN server.
CPU is Ryzen 9 5950x.
OS version is Windows 11 22621.1992

What about NIC,
Realtek maybe?

It is Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller.
The driver version is 1125.10.720.2022

Then try a non-Realtek PCIe or USB NIC.

I tried to use Mellanox CX341A as the main network card before, but a blue screen still appeared. But didn't realize at the time that the blue screen was caused by the VPN, not the NIC.

Before the blue screen, my SoftEther version was 4.41, and now it has been upgraded to 4.42. Hope that helps. .

Proceed with 'developer' test. A bit tricky there, if you can't find your way, click
https://dev.azure.com/SoftEther-VPN/Sof ... dArtifacts

That means I might be better off choosing developer? This may take some time as I have some settings on the stable release that need to be relocated. (Although the current stable version experience is not good, it is at least useful)

Backup your "vpn_server.config" and you'll be fine.

After I installed the development board and imported the configuration data, I found that the bridge option does not include the Realtek network card. I have tried uninstalling the network card driver and reinstalling it, is there any way to solve this problem? If it's too hard, I can use a Mellanox CX341A as a bridge.

Interesting, please run as admin and post as code:
PS> Get-NetAdapter | Format-List -Property ifAlias,InterfaceDescription,PromiscuousMode
Yes, go for the Mellanox.

Something ain't right with your output, I get for example...
Code: Select all
Get-NetAdapter | Format-List -Property ifAlias,InterfaceDescription,PromiscuousMode
ifAlias : VPN - VPN Client
InterfaceDescription : VPN Client Adapter - VPN
PromiscuousMode : False
ifAlias : Wi-Fi
InterfaceDescription : Killer(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX1650x 160MHz Wireless Network Adapter (200NGW)
PromiscuousMode : False
ifAlias : Ethernet
InterfaceDescription : Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller
PromiscuousMode : False
As you can see my Realtek does not qualify for a SE bridge. Another rejection reason is binding to VM adapters like your VMware.

I don't like this one, it may be scanning your net traffic and causing the BSOD. On a bridged interface do unbind EVERYTHING except for "IPv4" and check for BSOD.

But I don't have Kaspersky vpn enabled. In fact, it is not connected, including normal times. I only enable it if I need to change the network region. Or would that have an effect?

What about Kaspersky AV? In fact, disable any AV for the duration of BSOD tests.

Still running, haven't had a blue screen in days.Still, I'm not willing to give up my computer's security. Maybe I should prepare VM

You can't be serious. It's only "for the duration of BSOD tests".
