Issue on OpenWRT After Configuring Static Routes

Post by taijutuka » Wed May 01, 2024 11:41 am

Hi,

I'm encountering an issue with the SoftEther VPN service running on my OpenWRT router. The problem arises whenever I configure static routes for the VPN connection; the VPN service fails to start correctly.

Additionally, I tried using the feature to push static routes to VPN clients. Unfortunately, it appears that this functionality has not been implemented in the version(Ver 4.38 Build 9760) of SoftEther I am currently using.

Could anyone provide guidance or suggestions on how to resolve the issue with the VPN service not starting after setting static routes? Also, I would appreciate any advice on alternative methods for pushing routes to clients.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Best regards

Hi, disable SecureNAT, enable local bridge and use dnsmasq to push routes.
