VPN Server on Hyper-V suddently poor SMB transfers

Hi folks,

I have been using Softether for quite some time and it is a great tool for private access.
I stumbled however on a peculiar issue for some time (2months or so) and I can`t solve it, I don`t have telemetry over what happened, I just have suspicions.

up to 2 months ago it was working just fine, everything. Now recently after some updates (I think/hope but I can`t pinpoint what updates exactly) it started to have a very low transfer rate over VPN. I can connect, but once connected everything works very poorly.

Softether VPN server version - 4.34 9744
Hyper-V 2022
Windows Server 2022
NAT disabled
MAC spoofing enabled - it takes DHCP from the router.

Any clue where to look and what to do to make transfers working again as in the past?

No notable changes in the infrastructure aside from updates.

Installed another Softether server - similar behavior
