Hello

Need help.
I am trying to run SoftEther VPN Client, but unfortunately I am getting an error: "Unable to connect to the VPN Client service operating on Local Computer. Make sure the VPN Client service has started and is running normally".
I verified that the service named SEVPNCLIENT cannot start. It returns error 1067, repeatedly.
I have deleted the entire application, files, vrtual network adapter, tried deleting res registers, nothing helps.

Can you advise what to do?

I saw this and it didn't help solve the problem.

"C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\Neo_*.sys"
"[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Neo_VPN]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SEVPNCLIENT]"

The one above wasn't even in the registry, nor was this driver.

And in Safe Boot mode I couldn't install the application.
