Software Start Up slowly

Good morning
Where I work, there are two warehouses with two Lans that cannot be seen, the routers are FritzBox, there are no Servers. I installed the VPN server on a LAN PC in warehouses1 and I installed the VPN client on a LAN PC in warehouses2 with the purpose of reading and writing to the PCs in warehouses1. Everything works well but the management software on the Capannone2 client PC which has the database on a Capannone1 PC , starts up slowly, can I do something?

Yes, from VPN client go RDP/VNC to the management software AND database on remote PC.

Hi, thank you very much for the reply, I'm sorry but it's the first time I've used a VPN, and I can't find the "RDP/VNC to the management software". Please could you explain how I should do it? Thank you very much

Hi, were you referring to remote desktop? I misunderstood, I thought RDP/VNC was in a menu of the softether interface. If you were referring to a remote desktop I use TeamViewer. Thank you

If your starting database opens up several files (eg. old DBFs) then you need to multiply their number by the latency of your network (LAN < 1ms, VPN > 50ms) to estimate start up time. Only a remote desktop can match LAN performance but TeamViewer is suboptimal compared to RDP/VNC via your own, secure VPN.
