While the SoftEther VPN connection is successfully established, it leads to a noticeable degradation in the performance of the physical internet connection. We have been using this platform since 2021 and upgraded our internet bandwidth in 2023 from 25 Mbps to 100 Mbps. We would appreciate further clarification on the cause of this behavior.

The server is a workstation with an Intel i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage, running Windows 10. The client system is equipped with an Intel i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage, running Windows 11. Our internet connection is a dedicated fibre connection.
