Hello dear community,

I installed VPN server on centos VPS and I connected on my home PC successfully and it is working amazingly. But I wonder is there any additional option/setup for penetrating firewall option. I planning to use this VPN on my college for bypass firewall, all other vpns are blocked on my college and none of them working.

My question is: Am I need to optimize additional things like ssl vpn etc for penetrate firewall or it will be bypass my college firewall by default?

Thank you,
regards,

Are you talking about HTTPS/SSL VPN, or the actual SoftEther VPN protocol. These are NOT the same.
The SoftEther VPN protocol has a very high penetration chance. But you need to install the SoftEther client on their machines.

Here's the official documentation

If you want to set up a VPN server inside uncontrollable firewall, VPN Azure service is good for you.
