L2TP/IPSec connects without Pre-Shared Key

Post by ukall » Tue Aug 18, 2015 6:36 am

Hi,

I am running SoftEther VPN server 4.18 on a Raspberry Pi2.
Have activated "L2TP Server Function (L2TP over IPsec)", and entered a new Pre-Shared Key (not "vpn").

However, SoftEther VPN Client 4.18 on my Win7 notebook computer connects to this server without needing the PSK.
By the way I could not even find a place where to enter a Pre-Shared Key in the Windows client user setup??

The SE Win client connects to my server, knowing only user name and password, nothing else!

What mistake have I made? Thanks for any help.

SoftEther VPN Client is using its own protocol, not L2TP/IPsec.

The PSK is configured in the security settings.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
