[Newbie] Can I use SoftEther VPN to do this?....

Post by atty » Fri May 30, 2014 3:02 am

Hi all,

I just came across this VPN solution on the net, before I try to install it I'd like to ask if it can have the following feature:-

My office internet blocks many websites, like gmail, yahoomail, dropbox etc, so I'd like to set up SoftEther VPN server at home, so that I can connect from office to home using vpn, and use my home's internet connection as gateway. That way I can have access to the websites above.

So, to be able to do this, can I follow the tutorial at "Remote Access to LAN" to make it work?

Thank you all.

Thanks inten.

I tried setting it up but the client cannot connect to server with random error code 1 and 2.

Is the a step by step guide on the server installation? Most likely I made some mistakes there.

Thank you.
