linux - smartcard - yubikey

Post by bakuuu » Fri Jun 03, 2022 10:20 am

Hi,
I cannot configure vpn on linux (mint) with smartcard (yubikey).
On windows 10 everything works fine.

On linux:
output from: pkcs11-tool

Slot 0 (0x0): Yubico YubiKey OTP+FIDO+CCID 00 00
token manufacturer : piv_II
token model : PKCS#15 emulated
token flags : login required, rng, token initialized, PIN initialized
hardware version : 0.0
firmware version : 0.0

When I connect with vpnclient via vpncmd

VPN Client>VPN Client>SecureList
SecureList command - Get List of Usable Smart Card Types
Item|Value
----+-----
The command completed successfully.

The list of smartcards is empty.

What am I doing wrong ?

Dear bakuuu,
i tried to install vpn over smart card authentification in Windows 10 with yubikey 5 NFC and still don't work for me.
Can you please some advice to me how can i successfully works?
I can't to see my USB in Smard Card menu in VPN client.
I have installed Yubikey Smart Card Minidriver, Yubikey Manager, where i uploaded my certificate, and i can to see certificate in power shell with Yubico PIV tool.
How can i install pkcs#11 library on Windows? Have i to install yubihsm-connector or what have i to do?
Thanks a lot.

Regards
Frantisek
