Hello, how can we update to new version on Linux server. Does copying and overwriting existing files considered updated?

Yes.
When updating, overwrite following execution file and resource file.
vpnserver, (vpnclient), (vpnbridge), vpncmd, hamcore.se2

After building executables, the other files are not needed to run the VPN server.

Will it affect the server if i copy all the files? What i did is use FTP to overwrite all the files since following the installation from the guide will give an error of Folder is not empty so it wont overwrite the existing files. Could you furnish a steps to follow to update the version of the server? Thanks in advance.

Please run 'vpnserver stop' to stop the VPN server service before you overwrite.
