I am setting up a SoftEther L2TP VPN on a corporate RRAS server and need help configuring Dynamic DNS to use a dedicated static IP instead of the default outbound public IP.
Our network has multiple static IPs, and I want SoftEther’s Dynamic DNS hostname to resolve to an assigned IP address for our VPN server.
Currently, it defaults to our main outbound IP , despite manual attempts to override it in vpn_server.config (the setting reverts).
Could you anyone advise how to enforce a static IP for Dynamic DNS resolution? Is there a hidden setting or alternative method?

No.
Since you have a static IP, simply... "update the "A" record of vpn.ourdomain.com sub-domain manually, no need for DDNS" viewtopic.php?f=7&t=68180#p98553
