I've been told in the past Softether is hard-coded to timeout the login process after ~10 seconds.
We use Entra MFA (via Radius/NPS) to authenticate users, and it works fine but the user has to have their authenticator open and ready to go in order to respond quick enough.
Does anyone know a hack/trick/tip to extend the login timeout setting (say to 30 or 45 seconds)?
Being able to change that would save our IT team a lot of phone calls from people who think it's not working because they're not fast enough on the MFA approval.
Thanks,
Andrew

Re: Login Timeout Setting
Yes, on SE client increase "Reconnect Interval: 15 seconds" to whatever is required.

Re: Login Timeout Setting
"In SoftEther VPN Client, the "Reconnect Interval" is a configuration setting that determines how long the client waits before attempting to re-establish a connection after the VPN connection has been dropped."
Not sure that'll do what I'm looking for, especially since we use the built-in Windows SSTP client rather than the SoftEther client.
But even so, it looks like that setting just determines how long before the client attempts to reconnect, rather than how long the server will wait before timing out.
Thanks for the response though.

Re: Login Timeout Setting
Here is SE client logging in, not re-connecting after a drop out, 150 seconds...
