Just wondering if there are any plans to further enhance the encryption algorithms used to include BF, and perhaps drop DES?
Background is that in debugging an attempted SoftEther Client connection to a commercial VPN service provider (that supports OpenVPN), the site administrator mentioned that "I don't understand why they would maintain rc4 and DES but not BF, especially considering rc4 and DES should not be used."
While I'm no tech, that makes me curious as to whether there's a need to add BF and drop DES. The documentation (See 2.1.4) indicates that the following encryption/electronic signature algorithms are used.
RC4-MD5
RC4-SHA
AES128-SHA
AES256-SHA
DES-CBC-SHA
DES-CBC3-SHA
Also w/b interested to know whether there are any plans to add a bit more functionality to the SoftEther client to support VPN connections to commercial VPN service providers that aren't running the SoftEther server side. Not complaining mind you, as quite happy with the SoftEther client:> Just wondering.
