Windows 8.1 Realtek BSOD

Post by konvei » Wed Jul 19, 2023 10:04 pm

VPN Server and Bridge setup on a local PC that also runs firewall. Server has 2 ethernet cards both realtek, local firewall on server does NAT between these 2 cards.

Card A. 192.168.1.x

Card B. 192.168.0.x

Card A if the internet interface and card B is the local interface, in firewall i have port 5555 forwarded.

Remote client is able to connect by using softether client to the server BUT if i activate local bridge on server and use card B for it i get a BSOD (happens if i start file transfer) and a server reboot.

If i dont activate local bridge client is connected but has no access to file sharing.

Any ideas? BSOD is related to NDIS.sys, i tried latest realtek drivers and it didnt help.
