We want to use softether to remote access Quickbooks from the main office to our satellite office.
The unit is connected to the modem/router with dhcp enabled.
What is the suited setup in order to achieve connectivity to QB which requires local ip connections only?
Our satellite office is using router modem but internet connection is prepaid.
Main office is using a lease-line (dsl connection) service.
Units are using windows (2012 for the server, windows 10 for satellite offices)
Looking forward to your response. Thank you in advance

Re: Remote connection from satellite office to main office
If you need QBO with local IP then simply only enable SecureNAT with all defaults.
If you need to access QB on the server then follow this guide https://www.vpnusers.com/viewtopic.php? ... 267#p99021 where VPN Azure on/off depends on the main office's ISP.

Re: Remote connection from satellite office to main office
Good day sir.
Sorry for the late response.
I tried using defaults, the problem is i cannot locate/ping the QB server.
The local ip range within the QB environment is 192.168.254.100 to 200.
The router of QB environment is 192.168.254.254.
I tried to change the Secure NAT starting the DHCP from 192.168.254.201 to 192.168.254.250
and the client connected but to ping the QB server is still unreachable.
What changes should i be able to apply in order to be within the QB local ip environment?

Re: Remote connection from satellite office to main office
Either set the server's PC to a static IP eg. 192.168.254.1 or, if using the "gaming guide", you'll find it at 192.168.30.10.

I got it working via vpnazure.
Thanks sir @solo.
Just wondering why it didn't work on port 5555 (i don't know why).
